So I made a new album again...it seems like every time I go to put up pictures another month has passed. We have been a little busy again and of course I've been slacking with the pics and journaling. I went on a little Mom's weekend away with Kimmer a few weekends ago, so Em and Daddy had a little weekend to themselves. Then last weekend Debby came over, and as my birthday present she and Lana watched Em for 3 days while I jetted off to LA to catch up with Jam for a little R&R. The weekend was fantastic, Emma was great for Nena, and I can't thank Debby enough - it was good for all of us!

Jam gets back from a trip tomorrow and this weekend will be the first time in a few months that we will all be home and have no plans. Well...I always have "plans" - but nothing that we need to leave town or even the yard for! Then next weekend we are off again for Leslie for a few weeks and some bridal showers and birthday parties. I'm starting to wonder if my "honey-do" list will ever be completed in time for Baby V. #2's arrival.

Baby #2 is happily cruising along and growing very big - or at least my belly is. (I know, I need belly pics...maybe I can get Jam to take some this weekend!!) Emma has begun to notice that it gets in the way when we are reading or cuddling and the baby gave her a good kick while we were reading tonight. She thought it was pretty funny, though. She also likes to lift my shirt up to say "hi!" - unfortunately she does it at very inopportune moments. Yesterday we were out to eat and she lifted my shirt and said "hi baby, what are you doing in there?" It was cute, but she is starting to get a bit suspicious that baby is ALWAYS sleeping.

Meanwhile, Emma is really blossoming into the funniest and sweetest child. Even the days she tells me "Emma's teeth hurt" and we have a few meltdowns, she is still such a great kid. A couple of funny words that she says right now that I have to make sure to get down so I never forget --- Macaroni & Cheese in Emma-ese is "Monkey cheese" and Emma isn't "adorable" she is "a doorbell". She cracks me up with how much she chatters on and how frightening it is that most of it makes sense and can be pretty insightful. I want to just hang on to every single day we have together this summer, I get weepy already thinking this will be our "last" summer with just the three of us.

One funny story that I'm sure I've already told most of you, but again I have to get it down here so it is captured somewhere, and then I have to get to bed...

Jam, Em & I were in Target shopping the other day and Jamie and I were talking about something and all of a sudden Emma puts her hand on Jam to get his attention and says, "Stop, Stop, Stop Dada! What is that?!" And she pointed to this stuffed pillow with spiderman on it, but the way she said it was so funny and if you can ever get Jam to do the impression for you it is a riot. It has become the running joke in our house - we do it to everyone now. And then of course thoughout the rest of the store she proceeded to tell us that "Emma scared of spiderman." The "Emma Scared" impression is another great one. Ahhh...she is just so darn funny!

Alright, enough for this week...I'll try to get some belly pics up soon. 2 more weeks and we'll be to 6 months!! Only four to go...jeez...that seems like forever, but I'm positive it will fly by.
