Another month slips by... on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 @ 17:22 PM
Hi. I'm not even apologizing this month. I have no unused excuses left. As you can see by the eclectic mix of pictures this month we have been everywhere and visited lots of people for birthdays, weddings and such. We simply have not been home.

But now that we are to week 33 (yeah!!) I think we have to put travel on hold. My doctor requested nicely (ahem...told me it would be BEST) that we stay close to home after 34 weeks - which will be next Monday, soooo....it looks like only short little trips to the city for us. Besides, we went to Leslie/Ann Arbor/Detroit this past weekend for Dav's wedding, and the drive was very, very uncomfortable. There just doesn't seem to be a comfortable way to sit in a car for 4 hours when you are 8 months pregnant.

I did finally get Jam (and Em) to take some belly shots of Addison for those of you who haven't got to see me in awhile. I am rather round, I'm kinda like a weeble right now, although I may fall down! :-)

AS for the next few weeks before Miss Addison arrives, we are still in the midst of doing her room and other preparations...we have a couple of Cubs (Go Cubbies!!)games to go to and Jam and I will celebrate our 12th anniversary next week - how crazy is that??

Emma is doing great. She has really kinda come into her own lately and I think found her groove. She is sleeping like crazy - it surprises me every morning, but I'm able to get a good hour or two of work done before she is up - and she has been taking some 3-hour power naps in the afternoon. Someone once told me that they sleep alot when their brain is going through a growth spurt. I can't imagine what this growth spurt will bring, though - she already says/does/remembers so many things, it constantly amazes me. She too is getting very excited for Baby Addison to come out. She keeps telling me to draw our "whole family" for her when we are drawing, and she makes sure that I draw a little baby Addison, too. And she is forever telling me when she has two of something that "One for Emma and One for Baby Addison." She is going to be such a great big sister...I hope it continues after Baby A. gets here!

Well, we are all kind of still trying to recooperate after our crazy four weeks, but we are now home if you want to catch us!
