Happy 1 month, Addie! on Monday, October 10, 2005 @ 14:51 PM
I know, I know! She has been here for one month already! She is getting so big and time just keeps slipping by. As I write this she is curled up on my chest napping. I figure if I make sure she gets a nap in the crib in the morning, I'm entitled to snuggle naptime in the afternoon, right? You can't spoil them when they are this young...so I'm told.

We did move Addie to the crib for nights this weekend. It was incredibly sad, as much as I am trying to relish each and every moment with her, time seems to be flying by and she is already one month old!! But everyone slept a little better, including Addison. She is sleeping in 4-5 hour stretches at night, I can't ask for better than that from a new baby. (Well, I could...but that would be greedy!!) We had more visitors this weekend - Aunt Meesh and the girls came to meet Addison and play with Emma. Em had such a great time (we all did) with her cousins and has been talking about it all day today. Aunt Meesh got some good cuddle time in with her niece and I got a little break (plus Jam got home Friday night, too!! Yeah!).

Other than that not much is happening this week, so we are going to dive into potty training! We have been talking about it and preparing for it and Emma seems pretty excited about it. So we are having a party to throw our diapers out tomorrow. I'll keep you updated on that one, for sure.

Well, it appears to be time to eat. My baby bird is pecking at me. Until next week -
