This entry is to my sweet little Addikins -

Would you please stop growing up already, or at least slow down! I don't think I can stand how quickly your "baby-ness" is flying by already. You are sitting up like a champ now, in fact you really, um...protest...(Is that strong enough of a word?) quite loudly when you are lying down, but you will SIT contentedly for an hour just rummaging through your basket of toys. It truly breaks my heart to watch you, you already seem like such a little kid. You eat quite a bit of different foods now; you like Cheerios - but can't really get them into your mouth on your own yet; and you are pretty disinterested in nursing most of the time - I guess that part kind of makes me sad, too. I think our nursing/bonding time is pretty much over - you are just there to get the job done so you can get back to playing.

You and Daddy were playing at the table today, and it was so fun to watch. You would just stare at him until he would look at you and "peek" you, and then you would stick your little tongue out and laugh and laugh. And he'd look away and you'd get a very serious look on your face again and just stare, and then the whole game would begin all over again. It is astounding to see your little mind picking up on everything.

You have always had a fascination with your big sister, but now you are also very intrigued by the cats! Well, not so much, Tiger, but Smokey! Whenever she is in the room you just watch her and if she gets close enough that you can touch her, you immediately reach out to grab a little fur. Incredibly enough, Smokey has been letting you and even makes sure she is kinda close to you. I think she secretly likes you!

Ahhhh...I want you to be healthy and happy, both of which you are, but I wish I could just keep you this age and this size right now for about two years. That would be about enough time for me to catch up, I think.
